2019 Colours of the South
Adelaide Hills
Pinot Gris

Vibrant colour, aromas of cherry, rose, herbs, orange skin and sweet spice resembling red wine based vermouth. A crunchy lively palate showing elements of each variety, the Montepulciano adding the red fruit notes, Negroamaro adding a citrus and the spice element with Aglianico giving floral, herbs and the fine tannin and natural acid.

Lenswood, Adelaide Hills.

The Pinot Gris was hand picked and whole bunch pressed, a small parcel was transferred to older French oak and underwent indigenous yeast ferment with the balance fermented in stainless steel. Both the tank and barrels were lees stirred on a regular basis to build mouthfeel and complexity.

Tasting Notes:
Bright colour, vibrant aromas that jump out of the glass, tropical, fresh pear, rock melon with hints of snow pea. Palate is textural with floral, tropical and musk fruit flavours that carry through from the nose, natural acidity adds liveliness and balance.

Label Design:
The label was designed by Adelaide artists Oliver Reutens. It is an abstract depiction of our southern Barossa vineyard with the dam, paddock then the rolling hills covered in vines ad the beautiful colours of the south Barossa
